2011 Recap
I started 2011 by moving to Melbourne, Australia for 3 months. Although my expectations were already very high, nothing I could’ve ever imagined compared to the first few months of this passing year. I’ve been recently added to a team I have considered my family for what seems like a lifetime (and past life) as an additional camera (wo)man. The project is a genuinely special one that I would love to share with everyone… such great vibes. This video was our latest show at the Loft. More can be seen here. YERP!

Black ☠ Sheep: Contest: Giving away this Canon EOS... →
laceleatherharrypotter: (This photo was taken by my D90 not the Canon 5D, but that’s the Canon I’m holding) My mom told me to sell it since I already have the D90 but why not give it to some person on Tumblr who can take cool pictures and post them on here? I’ll select 5 people in the end and chat with them and get to…

“I see the progressive growth of apathy within our Western society. I see people’s overwhelming tendency to minimise the brilliance of each moment, I think the key to life is to realise that there will never be another you, and because there will never be another human who could experience the world through the same subjective lens quite like you can, that each of us are...

“Accessing beauty ‘involves inner silence: letting go of thoughts, breaking in from the inside out’. As beauty is a no-thing, it cannot be possessed, in fact nothing can be possessed and yet we are plagued with the need to cling to people or places or objects because we are afraid to loose them. What we do not realize is that they are already lost to us. Instead of grasping for thin air we...

“The pleasure suffusing his body called for darkness. The darkness was pure, perfect, thoughtless, visionless; that darkness was without end, without borders; that darkness was the infinite we each carry with us (Yes if you’re looking for infinity just close your eyes)” - Milan Kundera The Unbearable Lightness of Being

“We are born into chaos. Within this mixed up world of right and wrong, up and down, left and right, our brains source some sense of middle ground, the Golden Mean. A safe place from which they can observe and attempt to make sense of things that may be beyond our comprehension. We seek a balance. A refuge. A veil of peace that protects us from and connects us to our polar...

“What’s great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you can know that the President drinks Coke, Liz Taylor drinks Coke and just think, you can drink Coke too. A Coke is a Coke and no amount of money can get you a better coke than the one...
